a group within the group of whites are cracking under the pressure of a world where skin color doesn't guarantee success or good fortune. Their culture is not built for struggle, for level field competition against a global pool of candidates. That culture is heavily grounded in skin color/gender politics, not merit. All of those guns, all of that false courage, all of that bravado, why? I believe Chuck Palahniuk explains it best in his cultural wrecking ball book, fight club. He discusses the illusions and disillusionment that whites feel. That they they think of themselves as made to be great but that system only works, if nobody else is allowed to play. That's why racism is back. imo. Take it away, chuck.

You read about this stuff so much that you just become immune to it. I just hope the dog is alright.
